Problem I have on the Xfinity device is that peacock subtitles are too small. Went online too and nope.

Subtitles are not staying on I have to enable them every time I watch an episode!! This is ridiculous does Xfinity have something against people who are deaf? I have even enabled The closed captioning On the Xfinity streaming box and still it’s not fixed the problem!!!

Just a note, you can also adjust the size of the subtitles/captions. I usually find the default caption size too large and disturbing. So I prefer smaller subtitles/captions. If you go to *Settings > Device Preferences > Accessibility > Captions* . You can scale the size of the caption to suit your needs. Make them smaller or alternatively, make them larger. FYI Just an extra level control over subtitles. 😉

It is amazing that Comcast cannot come up with something better than this for Closed Caption; Subtitles. They need a lesson from Netflex. Am watching "Mistress of War". Had closed caption for the first 2 episodes. Now it is spotty and maddening, and understanding it is very difficult.

It works as you showed, however not as subtitles/translation, only as captions (same as language spoken). Watching a movie in Spanish the captions were in Spanish as well, with no option to select English. Don’t understand how/why Peacock shows foreign movies without translation. If anyone knows how to add actual subtitles please post.

Where I am supposed to go to for subtitles on my television is above after I pause the movie, and although I see a checkmark for subtitles, and I depress OK to uncheck it, it remains on off

This didn't work. "OFF" shows below English, that is not showing on your video...I can't figure out how to turn off to on...Im watching Girls5eva. Can you check to see if you can get it to work on that show?

I can't do this on my TV though... when I pause it, and down arrow to the captions option, it skips past that and goes to other shows to view.

Im trying to watch a movie using the Peacock app on the PS4, but the subtitles aren't available. There is only "None". However, it works when I try on my MacBook...am I the only having this issue? It's not all movies, just some of them, like Bridesmaids.

Peacock is definitely a strange bird.... I followed the instructions, several times, no captioning. Finally I decided to try turning them on "Spanish"...and I got Spanish captions. Then I went back and switched to English and it actually worked. Don't know why I had to turn on Spanish first, then English, but it worked....for now. All the money we pay for cable, streaming, etc you'd think they could have control options easily understood.
