How does the HD-3000 compare to the redking?

i'm not a fan of motorized gimbals right now either... but maybe in the future. the thing i keep seeing in all of them is bobs and micro shakes however they are always good at being on horizion line and they do good panning and can be used as a small jib but the problem is the "cost". you need a camera with steady shot and a gimbal with smooth shot or some stabilizing softwear money will get you a good footage but...that would cost around 4k where a flycam will set you back 200 bucks lol

Im also a fan of the analog stabilizers. If you're good with the analog stuff, you'll almost always produce better shots than the robotic product of the motorized gimbals. My recommendation is to grab a vest and arm; it takes a ton of those foot steps out of the shot and it also saves your arms and back over the course of a full day. If you're just flying a DSLR or BMPCC4k, then you can just grab the baseline flycam but ive used the Glide Gear DNA6000 and I love it.

A probably more fair comparison would have been to use the Flycam Redking. It has the ability to adjust the height of the handle just like the DGS does. In fact, it's almost identical.

I agree there are better tools to compare. But i should say they are just a tool like a chisel in ones hand which depends on the user. I came from flycam 2000 and nikon 5100 with 35mm on it( cheapos) and after do or die i master my tools and achieve unbelievable footages. Now i could hold a sony a7r2 with 16mm with a versatile zhiyun crane. My thought now is glide or fly cams which cost fraction of it. Its movements look more natural and original and i feel easier. To me its me rather than those two equally compatible tools. Give me to choose it i honest will take any one.
Edit: Dont use more than one balancing stone at each end instead adjust the pole to balace it. It will be lighter and not tiresome and will reduce trembling. That is what for the DGS series. I am commenting now in Aug 2019
