Can’t decide between this or the 12mm f1.8. Any suggestions?

This lens has a flaw where the middle zone is blurry/soft when the center and edges are perfectly focused. Imagine a circular zone like a donut where fine details are blurry when the rest of the image is sharp. Discussion about anything else is useless if it cannot take a good picture.
