Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Teardown | Disassembly

In this video I'll show you how to disassemble Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Compact, include Back Cover, Battery, Rear Camera and LCD Screen.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is released at April 2018. It comes with 5.0 inches size and a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The OS of XZ2 Compact is Android 8.0 (Oreo), and the chipset it carried is Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845. As the Sony’s newest flagship phone, XZ2 Compact comes with a 19MP primary camera, and a 5MP front facing camera. XZ2 Compact carries a large capacity battery, a non-removable Li-Ion 3180 mAh battery and it has a Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. XZ2 Compact will be available with four colors: Black, White Silver, Moss Green, Coral Pink.

Step1 Power off and take out the SIM card tray
Step2 Remove the screen
Step3 Remove the screen shield
Step4 Remove the motherboard
Step5 Remove the battery
Step6 Remove the rear camera
Step7 Remove the top micophone
Step8 Remove the power button and volume button flex
Step9 Remove the charging port and loudspeaker

Good video. Please do a durability test to check the materials.

@wit rigs main camera flex cable is also accessable from back, cover lock similar to nfc flex lock.

But overal very useful video, helped to find out all tricks without braking nothink. I had water damage, after reassemble camera stopped working. When taking out motherboard it little bended and camera flex disconnected. It's little tricky with that part.
