All rise for husband and wife duo Randy and Pamela Copus. Their exceptional album "Damayanti" centers around mythical love from the distant past. It has been nineteen years since 2002 first began producing music with their first album titled "Wings." Since then, it's as if their celestial melodies have soared to the Heavens in a continuous ascent of their own. Without a doubt Randy and Pamela are one of the finest musical groups producing music today. Their albums are in permanent rotation in my home ever since I first heard "Chrysalis," my all time favorite.
Randy plays piano, electric cello, guitar, bass & keyboards. Pamela plays flutes, harp, keyboards and a WX5 wind controller. Their status as top artists is apparent by the number of times 2002 has been listed as a favorite musical group, having charted 9 times in the New Age Billboard Charts within the past 10 years. When combined this is equal to 270 weeks on the New Age charts. 2002 was likewise featured in the December 2003 Magazine issue of Year in Review at Billboard, and listed with other top New Age artists like Enya, George Winston, Jim Brickman, Manheim Steamroller and Yanni. This is a pretty good indication of their standing as a chosen favorite for many people.
