Countryside Treasure Hunt - Taster Video - DLH

Welcome back to another Taster Friday, today Kayleigh will be showing you what is included in the Countryside Treasure Hunt module which is featured within the Physical section of our Distance Learning Hub, if you are curious about the Countryside and finding treasure, then this taster was made for you!

This course will provide you with exploration activities which would be ideal to take part in as part of a weekly challenge or whilst you are outdoors enjoying your expeditions.

This module will encourage you to get yourself outdoors to enable you to explore and enjoy searching for and finding the items that we have added to our treasure hunt lists within this module.

Throughout this module you will unearth your previous love of searching for hidden items of treasure that you remember experiencing when you were younger and you will gain more knowledge of the natural items that you can find within your local area when you head out on your daily walk outdoors.

Each section of this module is split into different outdoor locations whether it’s Woodlands and Forests, Parks and Gardens or Hills and Moorlands, you will discover many different hidden items of treasure within each of these different outdoor locations.

Each section of different outdoor locations has 3 Treasure Hunt Item Reference Sheets so that you can identify what each item you have discovered is and you can tick off each treasure item you find using our Treasure Hunt Item Checklist.

After you have used the Reference Sheets and Checklist that we have provided for you, please take our quizzes in either digital or PDF format to test your knowledge on how well you know the treasure hunt items that you have found throughout studying this module.
