Foamer dream: have 3751 and 2926 doublehead to the Grand Canyon from Albuquerque and from the Grand Canyon to San Bernardino.

There's also the santa Fe employee recognition special in 1992, where santa Fe 3751 traveled from LA to Chicago and back on santa fes transcontinental mainline

This is one of the most well edited railroad documentaries I've ever seen! The breaks from narration with train sim showcases are a great way to highlight parts of its history. My only suggestion is to lower some of the songs, and/or make the narration audio louder. But other than that, amazung job, and this channel deserves more subscribers, starting with me.

I've seen this engine twice since her recent restoration was finished. Not sure what's planned for her in 2024, but I have my fingers crossed knowing that SBRHS has gotten the money to fully install ptc on the engines, gives me hope of a possible excursion seeing how she hasn't done one since 2014/the last year San Bernadino held Railroad Days. And I was told by a volunteer when I toured her cab in 2022, that they're hoping to do another excursion to San Diego. If it happens, I'll be there for sure!

Another reason she became an icon, she was in ‘There goes a Train’

3751 was later given a ATSF 6 chime, as did a few others of it's class.

Too bad K&L Trainz haven't built their ATSF 3751 yet, would've been perfect for the video 😂

You left out when the engine made that trip from LA to Chicago in 1992, but it’s all right.

The 1920’s-40’s steam locomotives are my favorites. Don’t know why, but they just look more “American” to me

Very nice video! 3751 was the first ever Santa Fe steam locomotive i ever liked growing up.

When i was a kid, I saw old clips of it on either Cajon or Ratton Pass with those warbonnet diesels back in the 1990s in There Goes A Train.

Its always nice seeing the history of the first steam engine you've ever heard about growing up.
