hi, please help me, i am going to buy an SSD for my laptop which will replace my primary HDD,

i know i can make a "Backup" disc and copy all the Documents, songs, vids, etc,

but for the OS and programs can i just create a "recovery" from my current HDD
, remove the HDD and have all the programs and the Windows OS ? on the new SSD ?

i have ASUS G74sx, 2 HDDs, a primary HDD running the OS Windows 7 and some data and another HDD for all the data.

Idk what to do with my computer. I have a HP laptop and I can't do a recovery because my computer can't restart anymore. It freezing alot and when I press the power button to turn it on.It comes of then shut off so I would have to wait for awhile then try again. And now when it overheats it freezes and it never done that before when it overheats. Please help me, please!

I had windows 7 and i decided to get windows 8 pro on top of it so i did; i used an activator and it was working fine, until i decided i didn't like it and wanted windows 7 back. I have an Acer laptop and because system restore wasn't on my laptop i used system restore instead. the restore got stuck at 99% updating my system. I restarted and my windows was gone. it says windows 7 is preparing to install. but than it restarts and doesn't work its in a stupid circuit. HELP ME! WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS

I have been going through nightmares as my system has not been responding for several days.
