He kind of reminds me of an ex of mine who was a lovely man, but chronically depressed - I finally understood towards the end of our 3 year relationship that he was probably bipolar too - and constantly refused facing reality and getting any treatment. He always said that he would feel better the next day. Well, he didn't really.
Therefore I kind of had to take the lead in the relationship and I think that he resented me for that.
Lack of intimacy became an issue as well - I personally feel that sex is or the absence thereof can be used as a weapon.
The more I see Lily and Josh and the more I feel that Josh is not behaving as a grown up. The cultural differences between these two don't help either.
