『2PM』『TWICE』『Stray Kids』『NiziU』など数々の有名アーティストを輩出させたJYPエンターテインメントより2019年2月に韓国からデビューした、5人組グローバルグループ『ITZY』（読み方：イッチ）。

ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR＜CHECKMATE＞は2022年8月6日、7日韓国・ソウルオリンピック公園のSKオリンピックハンドボール競技場を皮切りに10月26日からはアメリカ・ロサンゼルス、フェニックス、ダラス、ヒューストン、アトランタ、シカゴ、ボストン、そしてニューヨークとUS全8か所を公演。全ての会場でチケットは完売となり大盛況に終わった。
10月17日アメリカ公演前には、アジア4か国（マニラ、シンガポール、ジャカルタ、バンコク）の追加公演を発表し、日本でも2月に幕張イベントホールにて初の単独公演を行った。
韓国のみならず世界でモンスター級の活躍を見せている。
2023年7月31日（月）には2023年初のカムバックとなる＜KILL MY DOUBT＞をリリース、
そして、10月18日（水）には初の日本アルバム『RINGO』を発売予定。

Not me crying while watching this MV. It’s so good and relatable. It’s a slice of life concept. You can see the stuggle they try to hide especially on Ryujin’s part and how yeji and the girls notice it. It only show how strong the girls bonds are and makes me feel proud of them. I know that ITZY really tried their best in everything and no matter how hard life gets with a bond as strong as theirs I know they will overcome it. I really hope all MIDZY continue to love them, cheer and support these 5 girls now and forever.

The lyrics has such deep meaning. When a member of Itzy feels upset, the other members comfort her. Its amazing how Itzy made yet another awesome song that enhances and emphasises on their unbreakable bond, their never ending friendship. I don't even have enough words to describe how heartwarming this is. I will always be a midzy. <3 They have such a beautiful chemistry and I can literally feel their love for each other radiating off them. Especially when Ryujin and the others hugged Lia. I cried when I first saw this. It's cute and kinda sad at the same time (my opinion).💖💖💖 So healing for me.
