What a difference you made in that room. It’s charming. I love the mantle. You decorated it so pretty. It has a vintage look to it which I love.
I used to live in a rental house when I was younger. It had paneled walls too. I painted and put down carpet. It looked so much better. Paint and cute decor changes everything.

The before and after shows just what a difference paint can make.Great choice moving the sofa to give yourself more space. You have chosen some nice pieces for decor. I love the painting and the mirror. Just my opinion from what I can see. The mirror will reflect light but also the the pretty outdoor scene. Your cats are so cute. If the painting will fit above your shoe organizer I would do that to make a pretty little entryway. Once the picture is hung you could still lean the mirror against the landscape and lean the Christmas tree against the mirror. If the landscape is too big try swapping it for the other picture by the door. That way you could stack the books inside the mantel and place battery operated candles on the book stacks. Just some ideas for you to try if would like. I have a small home too and I am constantly moving stuff around and in and out of my living room. Love everything you did. It is an amazing upgrade. Hope your landlord knows how lucky he is.
