Measure fetal heart rate by using your phone's microphone!

With Babybeat Tracker you can measure fetal heart rate by using your phone's microphone. How is it possible? It works like a stethoscope. With stethoscope you can hear the baby's heart beat at about 18-20 weeks. During measurement heartbeats are drawn. After the heart rate is measured, corresponding simulated fetal doppler sound can be listened. Measured heart rate can be saved to results. Graph of results can be viewed.

Heart rate can be measured in two ways. The first way is to position the microphone like a doppler device (on your belly). Quiet environment is needed. This measurement way can be used from about week 27, but every pregnancy is individual. Fetal position also affects to how easily heart rate can be measured.
The second way is good if you own a home doppler device, but don't know fetal heart rate. Pulse can be measured from pre-recorded doppler audio or directly from home doppler device's speaker.

Important note concerning the model of the phone when measuring directly on belly:
So far all WP 7.8 reviews have been five star reviews whereas users have reported problems with all the WP8 phones containing several microphones (Lumia 520, 620, 720, 820, 920 and HTC 8X). Answer to "thefirstspecialone" (I had to write it here because YouTube bug caused that the reply button was missing): Android version is possible in future. I can't give you any time frame yet, but Windows store app is already planned and it is possible that Android version is developed at same time. But there can be same kind of problems (maybe worse) in Android version compared to current WP app. That what I'm talking about is large set of different phones with different mics. Especially those new phones containing multiple mics are problematic. However it seems that it is possible to access independently to every mic in Android. This is not possible in WP.

I bought this app I can calibrate it but I have triplets the beat always says to high with my friends with a single baby it works great any suggestions

No on. Real doppler you can find all there beats they.are not in synch I finely decided to order one I may post a video of ME using it.doc.everyone can see what triplets sound like I have 2. Boys and a girl IM 26.5 weeks now my doppler Is in transit due to the weather it's delayed IM due may 10

This app must be fake because telephones are design to focus on the frequency of spoken words. It automatically filters out voices below 3000Hz. The fetal heartbeat is below that cutoff value. This is beautiful, but supposingly ramdomly generated sound.
