In this video I test out which side of the Epson heat transfer dye sublimation paper works best the bright white side or the darker off white side? This test was conducted using a polyester white T-shirt, a standard heat press, and an Epson f-170 dye sublimation printer. the heat press settings used was around 385° and pressed for 45 seconds. the printer settings used are set to high quality with no color correction. Epson support told me that the darker side of the paper was the side to print on and we will find out in this video if they are correct. I contacted support again and was told its the shiny side of paper would need to be face down when loading on to printer to print on correct side. Honestly the off white or darker side in the light appears to me more shinny than the white but I take they mean the white. In the end after several tests I believe the white side works a tiny bit better per my results.
