You may be unaware of this, but Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez views herself as something of a victim, constantly the target of violent rhetoric from the right wing. It’s a form of what’s known as “stochastic terrorism,” she says, and as a result of the vitriol and rancor coming from her political opponents, she’s in constant danger.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss this concept of stochastic terrorism and whether those on the Democratic side of the aisle could be similarly accused.

This "stochastic terrorism" claim was used as the argument to disallow a demonstration in Sweden yesterday. Of course, there are no laws supporting the idea, so it will be struck down in the court of appeals - after the planned date has already passed, of course, with no repercussions for the government bureau involved.

At least, there were no repercussions last time.
