Recently bought a house and there are paint speckles on the finished hardwood floors from where the previous owner had painted the walls with a roller. Would wd-40 be a good solvent to get this up off floors?

I learned the second knot from my GF it don’t come loose at all

Yeah I think that's called a rahpla knot the first one but if you are using a hollow body frog I would tie a loose loop they call the action of tieing it like that walking the dog because of the more realistic action it gives the frog
