DHS Inspector General probes Secret Service over Trump rally shooting

The investigation will "evaluate the Secret Service's process for securing" the campaign rally where a gunman attempted to assassinate Donald Trump.

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.

I am an old woman, not a feminist and I grew up in a very different time. We fought hard in the 1970s for equality and female entitlement. However, we are not equal! Duh. Arbitrary quotas for women in the FBI is absurd. No matter how you slice it, there are differences between men and women, physically, emotionally, and in matters of respect. When i was a child of 9 and on, i was the best athlete among my 3 brothers. I played baseball with the boys after school. And a spectacular put out at 1st base by me, earned their respect forever. I have always had great hand/eye coordination along with amazing peripheral vision. I almost always hit home runs, a good thing because i was a slow runner. I won the Duncan YoYo contest, beating all the boys. More respect. But I could never be a Yankee baseball player. Bender matters. So I played pre - Title 9 softball at OU. My point is, there is a difference. Genders are not equal, they are like an 18 wheeler truck and an SUV, different. I had to be better at playing baseball than the boys to earn their respect. And I was. I believe that our female head of the Secret Service may not have earned the respect of the rest of the team. She must be better. Gender matters! She must earn the respect of her male colleagues. It appears to me that she has not.
BTW,
A short woman can NEVER effectively protect a tall person of either sex. Gender matters. Quotas and inappropriate, idiotic placement of protection officers nearly got our presidential candidate killed. Gender matters! Unless, of course you desired a fatal outcome. I think that having the FBI investigate the Secret Service is like trying to make a salad with 2 rotten tomatoes and no lettuce, but plenty of dressing. A cover-up!!
