Why Did The Viral Sprinter Change Her Salute Hand?

This athlete went viral for changing the hand she saluted with, but why did she do that? Her name is Ewa Swoboda and she is a Polish sprinting superstar. After her run, she saw the camera and saluted with her right hand. She quickly showed that this is a mistake because salute with the right hand is for military personnel and she meant no disrespect to the army.

Prior Air Force here. No disrespect taken, but I don’t think that’s what it was. A Polish salute is also only with the index and middle finger. Either way, she isn’t a superstar, she’s a straight up goddess!!!
