The little island of Burgi (or Bourtzi) as you can see it from the main harbour of Nafplio, Argolis, Greece.

Τhe city of Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece and the little island of Bourgi (or Burgi) hosts a Venetian water castle (Palamidi castle) which was used as a prison for one of the Greek heroes - Kolokotronis (the Greek general and the pre-eminent leader) of the Greek War of Independence (1821–1829) against the Ottoman Empire.
