American Students do Pledges!

I didn’t really expect this much attention so quickly, thank you. And also, a lot of Americans don’t do the pledge anymore, so don’t go into a school and expect every kid to be ecstatic about “God blessing America”

Y’all, America was built on the idea of separation of religion from state, can we PLEASE not have a religious war over a SINGLE lyric in a PLEDGE?! Believing that religion should have power over state is a centuries old belief, and was decided against in the 1st and 14th Amendment.

I recently started noticing how much we treat our flag as a dictator. Singing the national anthem are EVERY sports event (even non professional), and reciting the pledge every day. Now, at my school no one actually recites it, but it is still played over the loud speakers.
