I think my favorite Loren period was the sixties, when she entered her thirties and (IMO) really came into her Earth Goddess beauty. Look at that entrance that begins this montage. The film is "Arabesque" and the first time I saw it, I literally gasped at Loren's queenly arrival.
My other favorite is the 1967 Neapolitan fairy tale, "More Than a Miracle, " which co-starred Omar Sharif. If you've never seen it, FIND IT--Sophia and Sharif are at the height of their considerable beauty and Piero Piccioni's achingly beautiful score underlines their appeal.
