If I saw somebody on my crew trying to use half these tricks, I would fire them. Most of these are pointless.

A nice range of "that's useful", to "maybe in a pinch", to "why on earth?". Mostly the last.

What's the point of the first one?
The second one, can save time, money, and materials and just buy a pin remover, or use a screwdriver as many have done before. Then even further on it, just buy a paint mixer.
Third one, cool, you put a cross cut in a section of bolt to screw it into some soft wood... that does nothing but have a chunk of metal in the middle of a piece of soft wood.
Fourth one, yay! You bolted some white to some soft wood so that you have some wire bolted to some soft wood to yank on. Here's a "hack, " tie some string to the head of a broom so you have some string tied to the head of a broom to yank on.
And on, and on, and on, and... use a plastic bottle on your indoor faucet to fill the bucket? Yeah, having a bottle with water inside left hanging on your faucet is much more practical than buying a faucet that has a nozzle on a hose, screwing a hose to your faucet if you don't have that but have a threaded faucet, or, you know, using an outdoor faucet, your shower head, or your bath faucet.
'Here, law nails on a board, burn the board, and you fixed the problem with your AC unit!' What is that "hack" even supposed to be used for?
The nail through cardboard, for people that lack the mental capacity to hold a nail. Just just using an angle grinder to turn a wrench into a limited range cat paw for people too stupid to use the claws on their hammer or cat paw.

Some very clever ideas, some more trouble than buying a ready made product.

🙄😳 jamás entenderé ese afán de algunos hombres de echar a perder algo útil para arreglar otra cosa

Lucky you. Make shift tools are strictly verboten in the shops where I’ve worked.

Есть хорошие идеи, но большинство абсолютно бесполезных идей

The thing with the wrench. I would probably just use my hammer. It already has this thing on the other end for pulling out nails. Try it. It works even better than destroying a perfectly good wrench.

Yes, you can make do with the wrong fastener or tool, but it is always better to have the best tool for the job. I never regret getting the proper tool.

My take away from this video is:
You don't always have to hammer the nail into a board. You can also hammer the board onto a nail!

there are more than a few of these that are down right clever. Then there are some that.... The tools used to make the "Handyman Invention" cost more than the invention itself, and if you have the tool to make it, you should already have at least 2 of the tool you're trying to replace. (or in the case of the wire strippers, a knife already in your pocket)

Ролик наводит на мысль - как часто выбор человеческий, балансирует между мудростью и запредельной глупостью.

Its cool but its not practical since buying the tools from a hardware store is much better.

I need to cut this wood but all I have is this saw blade amd a spare door hinge and some screws and bolts. Wonder how I can cut through this wood? 🤔😆 I'd say about 90% of these are really reaching lol. And there a much more affective and simple ways of accomplishing what he accomplished. But it made for a interesting and humorous video lol.

I hate seeing someone turn a twenty dollar tool into a five dollar tool.

Do you know that there are ready made bits of steel with threads and screwdriver slots?
I think they call them screws.
