I love getting undercut hairstyle but I’d really would like to learn how to do it myself but I don’t understand at all what you mean by when you said “where you see the disconnect”. In your video I like my undercut to be clipped at the same height level as your mannequins undercut so would you say that when we use the comb to do the divide line to divide the hair to clip it up should be at temple level or at the level of a persons brow arch?

DO NOT go to a barber if you're going for a style that requires long hair. They will screw up your hair 9 times out of ten. go to a salon that has good reviews. Barbers are good with electric clippers. They have little to know skill with scissors.

I have a disconnected undercut and although the line is straight it's slightly too high on one side, so to fix that I'm growing out the sides to a point where it can be reshaped and evened up
