really like the mirror backsplash, and the ‘breakfast’ counter. We’re looking to renovate a small galley (no open side) and looking for space saving ideas to make the area seem bigger

As a qualified Joiner who amongst other things makes kitchens I can say from experience that they are overpriced by a fair amount. Plenty of suppliers out there that will supply a standard kitchen (which is what Howdens supply) but far wider choice of spec, better quality and far cheaper and I say that as a Howdnes account holder of 25yrs. In my opinion they are average quality and poor on price. I got a price from them for my own mothers kicthen and they were £1500 more expensive for fewer units, less pull outs and low grade worktops. There is little to promote Howdens in reality but if someone is happy with the result then the rest is immaterial.
