Finally a review that focuses on what the Go is, a small computer that can also be used as a tablet. And not comparing it to an iPad because an iPad is not a computer. I'm happy to also see real life use instead of complaints that it's too slow but no one shows it being slow. I've had the Go 1 for a year and it's starting to have some WiFi issues so I'm planning on upgrading thanks to your review.

Initially, I didn't like this product, but now after going through the whole series of videos from you guys I think that it's a really good product for this form factor. Same for the surface pro X as well. You guys do have a broader perspective than many tech reviewers out there.

Big ask: Have you run the Surface GO 2 core m3 up against Surface Go 3 core i3?

Surface Go 2 packs a lot of high-quality Surface Pro design details into its small frame, from the innovative kickstand with its wide range of stable display angles to its reflective Microsoft logo to the solid color-matched hardware buttons. It’s a good look and it was really amazing ❣️🔥

@ALLSTARSPACE, hey nice review. But I have read there is heating issue in some versions of SG2 and SG3. Would you pls specify about it? I am planning to buy either SG2 (Refurbished) or SG3 (New) for basic use like word/excel/you tube viewing as a secondary option but don’t want a roaster. Which version should I opt for basic use?

4GB/64 or 8GB/128?
M3 or Pentium?

Will appreciate your input. Thanks..

I ordered the m3 and LTE model to replace my aging iPad mini 4 LTE. I just don't like how fast iPads deprecate themselves. I know it will still get the next iPadOS but it already is quite slow at running current apps. Like it takes ages between my banking app opening and asking for the password. I had a 2013 tablet with Windows 8 and I gave it to a friend who uses it still today, well that one had a slow eMMC which made it slow to begin with but got better with Windows 10.

I will get the surface Go 2 monday next week if they predict it correctly. I got a Surface Pro 7 from my company to work with, I really like it, but it's quite big and it seems they will replace it with a surface book because I need to run some containers on there to do my stuff. Which is great by itself, but I don't want to lug that around when I go seeing my family so I need something smaller to carry around.

People who are tied to Chrome, as was said, here Chrome has always been too power and memory hungry. If you think you can't live without Chrome, I suggest you replace it with Microsoft's newer Chromium-based Edge browser. Edge is smoother, faster and far less resource hungry than Chrome, but the best part is, beyond all that, you can use all the Chrome extensions you love, since the new Edge is based on Chromium, as well. I've been using Edge since Microsoft released it's Canary and Dev version. It's a total winner. Chrome goodness without Chrome's horrible overhead.

Fantastic video thank you. One question: do the Surface Go 2 M3 processor can run "only 64 bits applications" ? If not, is it a big problem ? Is there a lot of only 64 bits appli ?

How about Firefox? Is it also power hungry?
