You should talk about the USA who took many Nazis and turned a blind eye to their nazi connection and crimes.

Cute sign on the wall says " In Heaven there's no beer, so we drink it here." Practicality in everything.

The "German" cities in South America are there from the 19th century. Those Nazis that fled are perhaps 1% of German South Americans. Of those, a lot who would be prosecuted, but in Germany would only get minimal punishment, if at all. A lot also where Völksgerman, who were not allowed to remain in their home countries; Many chose Latin America instead of Germany

Argentina is a nation of immigrants. It was one of the ten wealthiest nations in the world until WWII. During the great migration (late 19th century to early 20th century), they received 2M immigrants from various European countries. The largest group to arrive were from Southern Italy, the second largest group were from Northern Spain, Galicia in particular. Due to the pogroms in Russia, it has the second largest Jewish community in the Western hemisphere. Aside from the aforementioned countries, people arrived from Poland, Ireland, Germany, the UK (the Welsh settled in Patagonia), and several other nations. Yes, Nazis also settled in Argentina, but the country already had a strong German community of immigrants that had arrived many years before the war. To talk as if all the Germans who came to Argentina were Nazis is just ignorant.

The German people helped to establish the educational system in Argentina 🇦🇷. I am proud to be an argentine American. My German Argentine and Italian Argentine would want me to honor them. To Honor their roots. I am doing that to the best of my ability.

Never ask a woman her age
Never ask a man his salary
Never ask an Argentinian where his/her grandfather is from

As an argentinian I am offended by these sensasionalist idiots trying to rewrite history and smearing and disrespecting german heritage in Argentina.
Of course there were german inmigrants or their descendants who simpathized with nazism (80% of germans, plus an important percentage of hungarians, austrians, spaniards, dutch, finns, latvians, estonians, ucrainians, and even english and americans were!)
Most of them emigrated to SA many years before WWII and built many towns, infrastructure, schools and industries. These civilisatory facts have nothing to do with nazism.
Of course after the war some nazi hierarchy also flrd to south america, helped by simpatethic governments... SO WHAT? Those emigrants were by far much fewer than those that emigrated and were welcomed in the USA, the gormer Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Britain and other countries.
Most of them integrated and where bery useful to their hosting countries. Others were hunted and put before justice.
Towns in south america are south american, nothing to do with european ideological spinsters

Hey! German Argentinian there. My grandfather was a nazi, and I feel super conflicted about that. For sure, he was a bad guy, but he passed away when I was 10, and I only have good memories about him.
