In Nkin'gasia: Deep Amazment Lemarti follows a successful but fatal cattle raid using automatic rifles.

Lemarti condems the practice of killing during cattle raiding because it yields not wealth and praise but inescapable guilt because of the theft of the lives of the fathers of children during such raiding.

Lemarti shows Great wisdom and courage because he knows and feels the remorse of what he is singing about.

He can speak to the Murran with conviction and force to the warriors and be listened too in a way that we Kimaniki Fathers and Grand fathers are not listened to because we never used firearms when cattle raiding in our youth.
