The only man never to have a trial, his lawyer told him he’d never see his mum again. The mind of a child…..

Check out the film called Nitram which spelled backwards Martin. The film came out few years ago and the American actor Caleb Landry Jones who played Martin Bryant along with Australian actress Judy Davis who plays his mother and Anthony LaPaglia who plays his father. The Tasmanian government back then tried to banned the movie.

Martin Bryant had the intellect of a 7 year old, yet he made some long distant head shots with military precision, if you can find the original police interview, he told a different story

Believe it or not. I was in the royal Hobart hospital getting my cast cut off my hand after breaking it. N I seen a bloke in handcuffs walk down the corridor with 2 cops with him. N I asked the nurse was that martin Bryant. She didnt say yes but the facial expression was enough. That was about 17 years ago.

Can somebody please explain why the files to this case have been locked away for 75 years ? Isn't that odd ? And why no colonial enquiry into such a major incident ?

Bit of a shame you went all that way and didn't actually find the location of the memorial at the broad arrow cafe. There is a beautiful reflection pool and shrine. You can even walk through the ruins of the cafe. Where you were standing and saying the tragedy occurred behind you, it was actually in front of you by 100 metres or so, just through the trees. The "memorial" you show is just a graveyard. Anyone interested in seeing the actual location can find images on google maps.

The guy that was making the movie has taken a single statement and make a conclusion, rather than looking at all statements and evidence. Multiple witnesses against 1 victim who may or may not have the best memory of the incident.

Im not saying hes wrong. But i aint taking paulines claim seriously when there are multiple witnesses who all have the same story.

Im not saying either are right, but the person charged had a weird interview and shows no remorse. Even if he didnt do it, his interview seems like he doesnt care which is weird for a small town when everyone knows each other.

The accused acts very weird for someone who is innocent in a police interview. He could be a psychopath who did or didnt do it, but we all know he did it, lets be real.

1:24 you did literally no research, behind you are the old colonial prisons, the cafe where the massacre happened is on the right as you leave the visitor centre, nice lies to make content tho

Guns are not banned. There is alot of law abiding legal gun owners in Australia such as myself. Only certain ones got heavily restricted after the Port Arthur massacre.

I think they made a mistake finding Bryants ar15 at seascape when it was being repaired at a gun shop.

That was the darkest day in Australian history but it was also a wake up call to Australia and in case everyone’s wondering no I am not related to the shooter. I just have the same surname as him, and even if I was related to him, I would still hate him for what he did. It was cowardly and downright evil I hope he never fines peace, and I hope he suffers for the rest of his life rest in peace to the victims they will never be forgotten.

It's the mental health system that needs to be changed, not gun laws.
