Thanks for the video! Alternate VEX option is ` detail(0, "maxdist", 0) ` for accessing geometry detail attributes on the first input stream. (-#s for spare input, etc). The quick spec in the parameter field doesnt seem to indicate this, but the index method is useful for its simplicity.

Thank you for the tutorial. I'm wondering why do we have to promote the attribute to detail to be able to access it? Why I can't read attribute with a point function?
