Ev ETX18sp vs QSC kw181 %100 volume

I think the ev woofer Need to tighten ,🤦🏾‍♂️ My stupid neighbours crying out .

Everybody has different opinion I think ev sounds better bass wise if u adjust them levels right u can feel that bass

The input signal looked a bit hot on the EV, looked like it was reading +14 DB. I have the 15sp ETX and use a mini mixer to keep the input at no more than +3-6db for the cleanest sound.

i keep my ETX 18SP at 120hz, these subs you had placed on 80hz, one of the reasons why it’s clipping so early and it will sound distorted and not enough of missing frequencies between 80-120hz, all depends on the music though, keep them on Live mode and a good EQ on the mixer, it starts from the source, proper gain stage, good EQ of the channel and proper setting, i love my ETX bc QSC, like the KS118, has a smaller cabinet which doesn’t allow it to have better acoustics such as the ETX

I have two of the EV ETX 18sp's. For the money that I spent on them, and the reviews I have read...I'm very disappointed. They sound amazing a very low volume. But as soon as you even try to push them, they clip out and go into protect mode. Very Stressful. I am using a Pioneer S11 mixer.

Is that the QSC KW? I've heard the QSC KS118 is amazing sub?

I have ETX 15SP and when I'm pushing them the limit light flashes, my mixer is in the red but that's the loudness I need, what's a better option that can handle it or it's fine with the light flashing!

KW181 will own the ETX all day. Never clips at high volume much easier to transport it is not as wide. Still love my 18”

Can someone give a say anything about the room eq setting I’m not too sure how it works so I moved it to 80 or 100 and it never clips and it sounds really good
