I just got a galaxy watch. Samsung pay isn't on it. And it's not on the samsung store. Any ideas on getting this set up? I do have samsung pay on my phone and it works fine.

Thx for the video. I am in Canada I have the Samsung Galaxy 46mm lte watch for about 5 months now and I am still learning its capabilities 🤗. This is a great watch but I just learned from Samsung support Canada that the Samsung pay on the watches will only accept credit cards not debit 🤔😥😪. Samsung support Canada says that they are not anytime soon planning to add debit capabilities to the watch however my Galaxy s20 ultra 5g does accept the debit cards no problem 🤔. This makes no sense, so sad

When I click to add card it asks for me to check my phone and like on your videos it pops up a screen to add a card but for me nothing happens on my phone.

I have tried to user Samsung pay and Google pay on my watch but I find it pointless..
You need to have your phone on you to use for watch. You need a PIN on your watch to use SP or GP.
It's really fiddly to enter a PIN on your watch, much easier to just use your phone..

If like to be able to use it without a PIN, then in winter I could just pay with my watch an not take my gloves off.

Unless I'm missing something, is just a gimmick.

Do you have to have Samsung pay installed on your phone for it to work on the watch? For some reason I can't install the app on my phone Any clues why? It a Galaxy A7 2008 with Android 10 installed. Google pay works just fine.
