At least one of these scientists needs to study John Legend. When I was a teenage he looked 20. Now I look 40 but I’m 30 and he looks 20 but he’s 50. Surely there is scientific breakthrough that can give me his youth (I’ve given up on his musical prowess).

Accidentally tuned into this and watched the whole show with my 12-year-old daughter, and I can see the positive effects on her, especially watching three young girls getting Junior Breakthrough awards for making Youtube videos :).
Had no idea such awards existed. Always wondered who are the real geniuses behind these incredible world-transforming sciences. again humbled by the humility of these incredible minds who shared acknowledgments for their teams, families, and people. Instill the faith that in spite of all the divisions powerful and rich are causing there are incredible and super-smart people who are trying to keep humanity and the universe united. Personally, I am motivated to resume and finish the home lab project I had to play science with my kids and friends. Thank you Breakthrough team to institute this.

Great to see all the amazing scientists, and engineers get their recognition. Kariko(mrna), and Deutsch, shor, etc(quantum info) are my favorites, but all are noble!
