Imagine being that rich, visiting so many places, seeing so many breathtaking landscapes and yet focusing your expensive camera on yourself

My favorite thing about his book is that if he was taking a photo book class at uni and submitted that, he would be lucky to get a C

This book is basically a physical copy of his Instagram account, there's no other possible explanation.

If you have impostor syndrome as photographer, remember that this book exists. Thats the purpose of this book. Thanks brooklyn 😊

I'm not even mad at the privileged boy, because he has always lived in a bubble, being celebrated for just existing and being pretty... I'm mad at Penguin for giving him all this resources without any criteria for making the book, and then he spent two years making selfies, knowing that doesn't matter if his photos are mediocre he would still get his book.

This feels like an elementary school assignment where you bring in pics of your family from vacay and make a “book” to describe each photo😆

I love how we all understand exactly why most of the pictures are black and white without even needing to speak a word about it 😂

This was way harder to watch then I thought it be. I’m sorry Jessica it’s not you, it’s the book. It is really, really bad.

"shift your body from the mirror... you need to find literally anything else to photograph" lol

His world is incredibly small for someone with access to everything he could ever want.

ETA: I can't believe our 80s holiday photos took by mum are better than this. And she's big on accidental negative space lol

I’m going to sound like a hater here. Usually all this nepotism business doesn’t bother me but something about this book does. And it’s not really the subpar photos but the fact it was released as a legitimate photography book. There is so many wonderful photographers out there who could only dream of getting a book deal. They have the passion and want to share that with the world and make money from their craft, yet this guy gets signed so easily and releases this? It kind of feels like a slap in the face. There’s no story here, no substance. And most of the photos are in black and white probably because those are seen as more dynamic I assume. The layout is messy. Why do we need to see a mostly blank white page with only a small black and white mirror selfie? I just don’t understand.

The publishers were having a joke but told Brooklyn they wanted it to be serious. And this is what they got - a photographic journal of pure narcissism

Lmao unlocked a memory of this "beautiful" photo of an exit sign I took and posted on my MySpace when I was 14 😅

I thought all my film work was just kind of mediocre…and then I saw what is in this book and I suddenly re-evaluated the quality of my work 😄👍🏼

The saddest thing is that if you see some pictures, he actually has potential. So I don't understand with all that money, the Beckham's didn't hire a photographer to educate him. They have the money to do that. The main part is that we notice the lad hasn't enough training. The photo of David Beckham his hands has motion blur, because of the lack of skill, but if he putted more effort in it, it could actually be a good picture. Pose the hands symmetrical, the light was already good, maybe in front of the face, use a tripod or monopod etc.

There are moments in the book, that you think: 'Hey, if he wouldn't find his mirror selfies so important, he might be able to create a vision. Selfies aren't even the problem, if he was actually creative with it, instead of acting like 'The old soul in a young body, ' while everybody except him already knows he is a kid mentally.

I love the way you can monetize a rich kid's horrible photography. Working class hero in my opinion 😂 keep going!
