I also headcanon that twisteds are just.. husks of their host. Like the ichor just clouded the toons completely to the point where they can't even control themselves anymore. But the toons that are controlled by the ichor are fully aware of what's going on, they just can't control themselves. It's like being in third person, or watching your death. They remembered everything from before their death, and still feel how painful it was to die in such a way. This is why I feel so bad for Finn, since his body got sliced in half. He's feeling that pain forever. And he can't stop it. It's just a constant reminder of his suffering. freakbob out
