To anyone wondering Beau Welling designed the course and it's 12 holes because that's what the land would allow. Usually foursomes can play it in 1.5 hours, singles in under an hour. Lends itself to multiple loops!!

We have a great Par 3 course here in Tulsa, Ok at LaFortune. So much fun, great memories with my Grandma taking all the grandkids out, and my dad taking all the boys out. My daughter just played her first Junior High tournament on #1 bag at the same course. Pretty cool

Great thing with the par 3. You learn a lot from your game playing these types of courses. In 2019, I worked in England. I played an excellent 9-hole course which was on the coast, east of London. Distances from 65-145 yds. It was windy and it taught me a lot about course management and club selection. The rough was not high but compact, so if you missed the green, you had to hit the shot absolutely correct in order to either birdie or par the hole. This part taught me a lot about the mental side. How we often quit on the short strokes because we get scared of the distance. The greens were small with tricky reads at times. I did -6 twice on 18 holes. Excellent for the short game and for the mental side and course management. You should promote this kind of play to your students because the scores will lower with a good short game. I’m a 5-hcp and I need to improve my wedges and chips in order to reach scratch hcp. Thanks for an enjoyable video, again.

LOVE par 3 courses. Quick and cheap and can be a lot of fun. Great way to get new players into the game and good for better players to work on short game. Wish we had more in my area

Love the content. I think part 3 courses are under rated. It's a great way to lower your scoring on the big course.
