Several schools closed in Turkana due to ongoing drought

Dozens of children in Turkana county have dropped out of school due to the ongoing drought in the region. A number of them have joined their parents in migration in search for food, water and pasture for their livestock while others have relocated close to lake Turkana and are engaging in fishing activities

Public 🏫 school has got no bore hole
Its should be the opposite coz public is being funded with the government.
Just digging a borehole eish.
A part from that Turkana has got larger doner funds in 🇰🇪 especially from 🇪🇺.

It's really devastating watching the young people of the society to quit their learning while the world is digitalised and living condition without knowledge is becoming severe

The government should do something in turkana, for sure turkana have served alot boreholes needed ASAP

this is too much, kenya government should drill boreholes using Chines machines, in turkana, samburu, kitui, kilifi, so that this issues of death by hunger to STOP FOREVER in Kenya

Kenya there is so much disparities imagine a student studying in this situation given the same national exam with a child in Nairobi, I think something need to be done to eradicate injustices yo marginalized children

Food provided in schools helps children stay at school, perform well and protected. When the families of the children are going through droughts it affects the child's wellbeing and learning. Sustainable and post COVID-19 recovery programs were essential to counter the economic downfall in the region and the global as well as the droughts and famine that affected millions of vulnerable communities in the horn and East Africa.

The government must do something, even if its digging boreholes. Not all the time Turkana!!! Turkana they are human beings .& it's not their wish to be born there.
