MOTU 828 mk II Testing analog inputs with Cubase

Nice!! Can you 'daisy chain' 2 or 3 of these units together using Cubase 5 to get 16 or 24 inputs at once? I also notice you're using the T.C. Electronic PowerCore FireWire. Are these units now obsolete or 'old technology' with faster computers nowadays?

Hi Gabi. Thanks for this video. So, is it me, or the analog inputs record at a realllly low level? I have a 828mk3 and On my old interface, things would record real 'loud' but with Motu things seem real low volume on input. I see your test is about -20dB, pre-normailize? I assume the gains on the analog ins were not adjusted (CueMix)

Hi can I just ask ...when your recording your MP3 player is it recording it as two separate channels LandR but also as one channel at the bottom ?

Hey hopefully you can help me. I just got a MOTU 828mk3 and have it set up with my TPS II preamp and dbx 166xs compressor. If I have my headphones plugged into the 828 I can hear myself talking but in Windows I can't hear anything. I went to sound settings to see if it was disabled in recording hardware but it's not, I see a ton of MOTU selections but none of them are picking up audio.
