We bought a titan pgd1032h for a $1000 dollars from Amazon and i cant be happier. We own a small fence company in upstate newyork and border the mountains. We have every type of soil from shale, to bolders, to clay, to sandy mixed rock. I am shocked how long that titan on this video took to drive those posts. We have an mt100 and usually dig all of our posts or hand drive them. Digging them all is time consuming and requires concrete, and driving them all for the last 20 years start to really hurt. We've always rented our drivers from homedepot dur to install more wood or vinyl than chainlink, but at the same time a gas driver on the to buy list. Our driver is awesome, hit way harder than the one in this video, and couldnt ve happier so far.

Love your honest review I was wondering if it would be good in the long run to use a machine like this to make a fence.

I've been using g one for the last 6 months. Mines cracked at the case where motor mounts engine has broken valve cover sprays oil but I will say this. I've driven threw black mud and have been doing post out in east Texas threw iron ore. The iron is hard it take a little longer but not 8 minutes.
In black hard clay iam still driving t post 2 foot deep in maybe 20 seconds
Iam driving 2 3 8 post for pipe fence 4 foot deep
And fence post 16g for wood and chainlink 3 foot deep usually without any problems. Somwtimes it won't go threw a rock or root but I just pull post out and move it a few inches

What was the soil type you were driving into? I have very sandy soil so thinking this might be quicker for me. Thanks for the video

With concrete it's surface area is greater, and black steel won't last buried in soil

dont forget .... its a small engine so im fckin impress that small pounder can pound that big steel post in 4ft .in 7=8 min.

HI there from NZ. How long do you want your hearing to last? I suggest you get some good earmuffs ASAP!

50% depth to exposure ratio is a bit silly.

that small thing won't penetrate our hard clay soil lol

For $2, 000+ you'll need to have a lot of posts to drive to claim a savings.
