Explore Circular RNA Functions and Biomarker Potentials

Increasingly, circRNAs are discovered to play important molecular roles in normal biology and clinical pathology. They have unique characteristics of expression derived from their backsplice sites (circular junctions). Due to the lack of free 5’ and 3’-ends, circRNAs are resistant to exonuclease degradation and are stabilized in biofluids for biomarker applications.
