Transferring the title of your real estate property is a simple yet time-consuming process. It’s simple because the process of doing this is pretty straightforward. But, its time consuming because of all the red tape involved. The government agencies involved in the title transfer take months to do it and so it would typically take 3-4 months to transfer a title. With the pandemic going on it now takes 5-6 months.

Hello Alex, another great video. Thank you very much. I’ve been trying to binge watch all of your past videos about purchasing land, lots & houses, transfer of title, and on and on. So my question to you is…..can you, as a licensed realtor, do all of paperwork and get it done for a client? Or does the client absolutely have to do this themself? I of course realize that there will be various fees, taxes, etc involved, but if a client hired you to do it, and left a respectable retainer, is it possible?

Hello and thank you for this video. We have now an idea of what the process is.
I have a question... we purchase a piece of land. Sale papers says that the person we pay the money bought a big area that includes our piece of land but he hasn't yet transfer the title on his name. They told us that we have to wait till he transfer the title to his name and then to process the papers to make new titles for the individual pieces of land he sold.
Any comment or advice on that would be appreciated.
