Girardi clearly wasn't the issue. The Phillies are the model for how not to build a roster. You cannot just go out and buy all your talent. You need to draft and develop guys who can contribute and the Phillies have one of, if not the worst farm system in the league.

Mediocre team. If they were 25-26 he’d still have his job. That lineup is filled with DHs that can’t hit for average, like Hoskins and their 2 slow as $hit outfielders

with all the talent on this team (and I am not talking this year only) girardi should never be hired again after this.

i couldn't believe they let him begin the year. the gm deserves zero blame and the coach/players 100% in this case.
