I love games that challenge me mentally. It took me over 3hrs to finally master walking on the rope, and another 40min to obtain The High Road's platinum relic.

When I first got the N. Sane trilogy for PS4 I struggled so damn much on this one level that I completely ran out of all my lives. But after I conquered it and replay the level again since, I really no longer find it that hard than I first did.

This was the last level I needed for platinum trophy, got mad and unninstalled the game, meanwhile 5 years later I reinstalled and now have to do all main story and all relics again

I was happy they didn't patch this glitch in the remake. One of my fondest gaming memories as a kid was figuring this out and finally beating the level.

This lvl took me 3 years to complete. Seriously
I was only able to complete it when i figured out the rope rhing

I dunno why they made a platforming gaming from the 90's so fucking hard (I mean, I do. It's 'cos they could only fit like 6mb on a CD, which meant a play time of about 4 hours ... so make it hard as fuck, so the game lasted 20 hours. But still, my point stands)

Also keep in mind the bridge gets more narrow as you approach a middle platform. Don't try it halfway or in front of a safe spot or its very likely crash or coco will overshoot it. Do it when the bridge is at its widest. Keep in the mind that gradual inward angle as you walk it.

Yeah, but it's hard to STAY on the ropes without falling off.

Its better just to use the D pad than do the spin. You can easily fall off trying that.

« EASLY » is a big word everytime you try to get on the rope either you can’t either crash keep falling off

After years and years of playing crash bandicoot games, I can say that sometimes it’s best to time your jumps like a rhythm sort of. Especially in these levels.

Like with stormy ascent. When you get to the parts with the platforms that shift in and out fast that you have to jump in a rhythm like movement.

Trying doing that to earn the gold time trial relic and you will see it’s useless. Timing jumping on and off the ropes took me ages to learn. Thankfully I got all platinum trophies and DLC levels completed. It wasn’t easy at all
