Hey Gabby, you`ve might already answered this question before, but I come to ask you one thing. I`m from Brazil and I`ve been studying english since six years ago, I totally understand english grammar and all about it, I can think in english fluently and speak it quite well too. And my particular problem here is not to understand americans when they speak too fast, because I`ve already talked to americans in real life and I totally understood everything they said and I also expressed my ideas and thoughts without a problem, but when it comes to a movie I don`t know what happens, like you said in the video that we have to immerse ourselves into english every single day, but I guess that I`d feel very comfortable if I travelled to USA without a translator or a guide to guide me. So, in fact my problem is not to understand fast speech at all, cuz like I said I totally understood americans in real life without a problem, but when it comes to movies I only understand it partially. I don`t know if what I`m gonna tell you now is true or not but english speech sounds so much more clear in real life, at least in my own opinion.

Okay, so I definitely understand what's you talking about, and its much higher then 70% that you admit. My core problem is when english talk is going fast, so that word-train moves cross my brain and leave nothing behind).
The second main problem for me - okay maybe it sounds a little bit stupid, but I feel like same phrases and words both in english and my native language get different level of sound: english talk loud much more quite then my native language, so even when im watching news, videos, etc I need to make it louder. How to deal with that?

I understood what you said and I always understand my English teacher but I don't understand the movies.I think Americans use a lot of expressions and I don't know them.However I understand American accent more than English accent.I love American series more than everything but I usually don't understand them...that's too bad.

I listen to various sources of English :-) I listen to various podcasts like "Desert Island Discs" where there is a mixture of speaking and music :-) But I also listen to other podcasts where there is only speaking involved.
(Could you express the last sentence like this?...)
