Cystitis:

• An inflammation of the bladder or the urinary tract can lead to cystitis
• The parts which may get affected include:
o Bladder
o Kidneys

Symptoms to look for:

• Constant urge to urinate
• Burning sensation during urination
• Pain in lower abdomen and back
• Thick dark colour in urine
• Pungent smell in urine
• Blood in urine

Causes:

• Holding urine for long
• Severe constipation
• Infected kidney
• Kidney or bladder stones
• Enlarged prostate gland

Natural home remedy using drumsticks:

1. Boil 4-5 drumsticks in water for about 10 min
2. Separate the drumsticks and peel off their outer skin
3. Crush the drumsticks to make a paste
4. Press the paste on a sieve and extract juice
5. Drink this juice once every day

Natural home remedy using cucumber, honey and lemon juice:

1. Peel and crush cucumber into paste
2. Press the paste on a sieve and extract juice
3. Add 1 tsp honey
4. Add 2 tsp lemon juice
5. Mix well
6. Drink 3 times every day
