I think they're fine if they're things you actually want to change instead of just making goals and writing things down just because it's a thing people do.

I have never been a fan of new years resolutions because people I knew made a big deal out of them. However this year I have a few like finish projects I have started like videos or reading a book series. But overall I just want to be a better person and be myself

This year, I’m trying to further my hobbies and get closer to making a webcomic! I also want to change my wardrobe a bit (I want to wear both masc and femme things! Plus some gender neutral things too), and find another androgynous hairstyle and kinda reinvent myself. I really wanna being able to do a split again too! This year I actually want to stick to my resolutions, and new year new me can kinda apply to me since I lot of changes are happening in my life right now! :))

my new years resolution is to find a new coping mechanism and overall find a way to be happier with myself :) also i'm taking ur book one i do not read as much as i should

I think their not for me, but if it works for you, I'm fine with it! For me, it doesn't work because that's all I focus on, so this year I'm taking a healthier approach by just trying to love myself more. But I love your ideas<3

I don’t make resolutions because I’m always trying to better myself regardless. Granted, it’s always a struggle and most of the time I don’t make any progress, but I think making goals more “time based” even if it’s a full year puts more pressure on me and overwhelms me so it doesn’t help personally. But I know resolutions can help motivate others. So I say do what works for you 😊

My New Years resolution hasn't changed in the last 25 years. It's always, "Go see more movies!"

Instead of doing new years resolutions, I just resolve to do things over the course of the year. So instead of “new year new me” I just strive to do better and be better whenever I feel like change is necessary.

One goal I got for this year is that I will finish more drawing then what I did last year, since I would just put them to the side and start a new one before I finish last year

I like them but I think they only work if you follow them up with concrete action plans. For example, instead of leaving it at “I want to read more” I decided “I’m going to read 30 books this year, I will always read before bed and during commute and on other times of the day if I want to”
