As a person who’s flew southwest in the past multiple times, it’s a charter to my area so we get assigned seats.

You also don’t get a tray table which I use to rest my drink and watch movies on my iPad

There are a few negatives, I do like these seats because of the leg room however, To put your bag under the seat. It's two rosa head of you and your tray table Is small because it is built into your armrest.

That’s great advice. I always liked the back row. Rarely was it ever full. 20 years ago I flew from Louisville to Chicago every 3 months for Diamond Headache Clinic appointments. Now I live VA and SW doesn’t fly close to us.

The EU budget carriers used to do this but the boarding took so long because of people trying to sit together, get their bags stowed, etc. It was utter chaos so now we all get assigned seats. You can choose your seat when you book. For the good seats you pay extra. It's a lot less chaotic nowadays.

Forget leg room, all i want is to be able to lay back more than 2 inches. My back hurts sooo bad after sitting bolt upright for four hours!

Can you still place a backpack in the seat one row up? And then not reachable until they take off seat belt sign?
