Sonic Adventure Glitches - Son Of A Glitch - Episode 17

In this episode we take a look at some of the glitch fun to be had in Sonic Adventure. Most Of these don't work on the Original Dreamcast ver., so don't waste your time :) The footage in this episode is from the PS3 Port!

Its important to note that most of these don't work in the Dreamcast version, for some reason the DX port has very dodgy collision detection. Fear not though, the Dreamcast version still has cool little exploits that were fixed in DX.

There's a glitch I have discovered myself, on the Dreamcast version. Go to the casino area and press the button. Rings will appear. Charge up the light dash and stand on the right hand side of the first ring. Release and... Kaboom! Sonic zooms off into the air. You can use it to land on the railroad track and collect the Knuckles emblem.

You should really do a part 2 for this game. There's a lot of neat glitches that you missed, like getting Amy into Emerald Coast, Gamma into Casinopolis, among others. If you're interested, I can help. More than happy to. :D

I really do love  the Son of a Glitch episodes that are collections of glitches, rather than just a single glitch or two.

I've actually tried the Tails in Emerald Coast glitch, and i found it hilarious for when going past the lighthouse, Tails will fall and die while saying "Wha?" then quickly loads back to Station Square, left me laughing.
When I attempted to enter Emerald Coast with Knuckles, it just ended up with me dying while trying.

Man, you barely scratched the surface here.  There are so many glitches in this game, you could probably make a video over an hour long.  xD  Still though, awesome video!

When I saw this episode, I didn't read the desc.
Wasted several hours on the Dreamcast :'(

Some new ones sweet!  My favorite is permanently unlocking casinopolis for Amy.  Absurdly difficult you need the long hammer ( makes your attack reach longer) from the egg carrier, you need to clip through the train station roof and get on top of the clear tunnel.  Jump to break into a run and hammer jump toward the casinopolis switch.  It won't seem close enough, but swing your hammer anyway.  If you're lucky Casinopolis will be permanently opened to Amy.  Have fun Amy moves freely on the pinball stages!  The capsule makes the game reset.  E102 can get there, but can't play pinball.  Getting Amy into Emerald coast nearly impossible, but doable same as Knuckles and Tails.  Infinite tail attack can get you anywhere  Sonic/Knuckles Speed highway.  Knux can easily get into Sonic's Lost world.  old Dreamcast version was so broken :D
