Why was the Tempus collab ban cut short?

Thought i should clip this to explain why Calli was allowed to collab with the guys during the month long collab ban

Tempus is one strange branch. Limited to 1 hr streams is strange, original MV being cut short to TV size on a cliffhanger, and Yagoo wearing Magging t-shirt

Collab bans are usually to help units establish group dynamics and a fan base separate from the greater Live/Stars macrocosm. Considering Tempus was already very comfortable with each other from the start and by this point has mostly settled a pretty loyal fan base, I guess it makes sense management would feel cool with letting them loose into the world, especially with the demand.

Helps casual fans to not get bored with the boys so soon since we can now expect the comfy group dynamics with get spiced up with a little surprise from time to time.

I feel like Cover was testing this idea out with ID when they let all of the members do a collab together even though the 3rd gen had only just debuted. Clearly that hasn't hurt their growth or fanbases as they are all doing quite well. It also helps here that HoloStars EN is under the same management as Hololive EN unlike their JP counterpart so coordinating collabs is probably much simpler just like any other EN member collabing together.

IIRC HoloX also had a shortened collab ban duration to allow them to participate in New Year's collabs, and then we had ID Gen 3 which got a one-day exception to allow them to collab with ID 1 and ID 2 on HoloID's anniversary. That's before IRyS being allowed to collab with EN after only two weeks.

It does appear that Hololive management is experimenting with a reduction on the collab ban duration, and tailoring it according to the situation at hand.

I find it hilarious that the fan base keeps throwing "yeh ancient being" jokes at these two and talents like Marine when they are on the younger side of the scale, and the ones that are actually the oldest don't get dissed on by age lol

I don't mind an hour stream for their regular videos but I do hope the Collab stream last longer. I mean it is special stream. Not everyday we get to see a collabs. Also I love these 2

Glad that there’s enough supporters to show that the main core of viewers aren’t gonna get weird about these collabs, especially keeping it on their main channels. Seemed weird that they had to lecture us but kind of makes sense considering there’s still fans like that.
