It makes no sense. Silt is getting washing into the creek every time it rains heavy, so how do the frogs deal with that? The pine plantations expose bare soil to the elements which would be the source of any excessive runoff. Whereas silt from fossicking would be miniscule compared. Love the videos.

I guess watching you trying to find anything good in your classifier when it's clearly in very muddy water. But then 2 hands would have prompted you to give it a bit of a rinse before trying to find the good stuff in top of classifier. It is very hard to make videos and afford the equipment you need when it's a one man operation. That's why I've not done any yet. I have lots of equipment as I also have 2 claims myself. Gold and sapphires on both. That's why your video caught my eye, I'm trying to learn all I can as well. Which means that a person learns the good stuff as well as the short comings. I actually subscribed to see more, as what you are looking for I already have present on my claims.

I thought native dog creek was closed to prospecting due to the supposed silting up of Sewells creek downstream that is affecting frog habitat in that creek ?
Best you double check before you end up having your gear confiscated .

...you could be much more productive and informative if you use both hands and actually classify and process properly. Trying to do a video that way is a wasted effort. Do it properly, put the camera on tripod or mount on head or chest. You can't teach anyone anything, if you yourself are doing it half assed.
