Inspired by The Rite of Spring, award-winning choreographer Dada Masilo presents a fusion of contemporary dance with the expressive movements of ‘Tswana’, the traditional dance of Botswana, rooted in story-telling and healing ritual.
Dada Masilo is celebrated for her reinvention of classic stories, mining her own cultural heritage to create a distinctive choreographic style. She wowed us with her stunning re-imagining of Giselle in 2019. Now back by popular demand, audiences are in for a new treat with The Sacrifice.
