Welcome to Metropolitan United Church in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We worship together in person and online as one community. All are welcome here.

In this, our World Communion Sunday service, we celebrate the sacrament of communion with Christians around the world. If you will be joining us online, please make sure to have your own elements to take with the in-person congregation. In this week’s sermon, “The Family Table”, Rev. Meyers will dig into St. Paul’s great Christological hymn in the letter to the Philippians, and also what would happen to him if he ever gets on the wrong side of a particular 90 year old Acadian lady (hint: bad things).

Prelude: Various (Togni; Barber)
Readings: Exodus 17:1-7; Philippians 2:1-13; Matthew 21:23-32
Anthems:
Praise, Praise, Praise the Lord! (arr. Johnson)
 Psalm 100 (Zimmermann)
Sermon:  “The Family Table" (Rev. Jason Meyers)
Offertory: O Rest in the Lord, from Elijah (Mendelssohn)
Postlude: Comes Autumn Time (Sowerby)
